God's love

Gods love is something we get to hear about almost everyday, it's talked about everywhere. Alot of people hear about God's love but not alot of people understand the depth of his love for us. When you understand God's love for you, you really would see God in a different perspective. Recently I got to understand the depth of God's love for me and it's a wonderful  feeling.

I have outlined some few points that explains God's love and I pray that  someone learns something new from this.

1. God's love for us is not based on anything we do or don't do.

2. God loves us even while we were in sin and didn't know him at all, even when we don't care about him. he loves us still.

3. God's love is blind to our flaws and imperfections.

4. God loves each of us as if there were only one of us.

5. God's love is the perfect example of true love and it is the purest of love.

6. God's love is never sentimental, it is sacrificial.

7. God's love remains constant, whether we believe it or not. Our doubts do not destroy God's love neither can our faith create it.

8. God's love is personal, he knows us individually and loves us as individuals.

9. God's love initiates, it is not a response. we don't have to do anything to earn God's love.

10. God expects us to love him too because we are his children, but he doesn't take his love away because we have refused to love him back.

But why do people still feel like they are not loved by God?

God's love is always flowing to all those who would receive it. But often times we reject God's love because we feel we don't deserve it. It's like standing beside a running tap with an empty bucket, that bucket will forever remain empty unless u reach to the tap and fetch the water into the bucket. So we have to reach out to God with  open hearts to receive God's love, pray to God to help you with this and constantly tell yourself that God loves you; because he does.

God's love has the ability to heal us, to perfect us, to deliver us from the bondage of sin, and also helps us to love others in the right way. So open up your heart to God's love today, let it heal that broken heart, and fill that empty space and perfect all your imperfections.
