love yourself

                    

As funny as this sounds, there are people who don't love themselves, you don't just love yourself by default; it's a deliberate and continuous act.

What do you do with/for something or someone you love? you cherish it, protect it, guide it, grow it, keep it beautiful always.  But some of us don't treat ourselves this way, everything goes for some people, they don't even care about the impact what they do would have on their bodies or minds, it's not supposed to be that way.

 First of all as a believer, you carry the spirit of God so please acknowledge that fact and don't disrespect it. Secondly, what makes you think you don't deserve the best things in life? and how can u get those things when you don't even treat yourself in the best way? You don't love yourself if you're in that relationship that drains you, you don't love yourself if you continue to practice things that are harmful to your body and mind and you can't love anyone right if you don't love yourself, not even God. So please love yourself; as selfish as that sounds, Christ asked us to do so when he said "love your neighbor as you love yourself" that means you have to love yourself first before you can extend it to others. 

So see yourself as important; see yourself as beautiful; see yourself as great(cause that's what you are) most importantly see yourself as God's temple and before you make certain decisions or take certain actions, ask yourself if you truly deserve it. Never settle for less because you deserve the best!
